At Ray Foundation Group, our Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses give people with disability a safe, home-like environment where they can live as independently as possible.
SIL is tailored support in a shared or individual home, helping with daily tasks so participants gain confidence and choice. As a registered NDIS provider in Perth, we offer 24/7 support with personalised care plans, ensuring each resident feels at home, supported and empowered.

What is Supported Independent Living?
Supported Independent Living (SIL) means getting help or supervision with daily tasks to live as independently as possible. In practice, this can include assistance with personal care (dressing, bathing), household tasks (cooking, cleaning), managing routines and developing life skills. SIL is not about sharing a generic facility – it’s about having a home that fits your needs and support workers who help you achieve your goals.
Home and Community
You live in a regular house or apartment, either with roommates or on your own, in a normal neighbourhood. We arrange accessible accommodation to suit your needs.
24/7 Support
Trained support staff are available around the clock (24/7) to assist with routines, emergencies or just be there when needed.
Skill-Building
We focus on learning and practising everyday skills (shopping, cooking, money management) to boost independence.
Choice & Dignity
You make decisions about your life – meals, daily schedule, activities and more. Our staff respect your choices and privacy.
SIL houses
By living in our SIL houses, participants gain independence and self-confidence in a supportive setting. Sharing a home also offers social connection and peer support, while still keeping a strong emphasis on personal autonomy.
